Martin John Kenrick – Profile

Martin Kenrick gained his business experience working in a medium sized West Midlands manufacturing company, which made products for the retail and wholesale trades, for builders’ merchants, for other manufacturers, and for export markets. His initial training was in marketing, product innovation and export; he moved then into general management and was chairman and managing director of the company for 13 years, with total responsibility for all activities.

Alongside his industrial experience, Martin Kenrick has been involved in a number of key West Midlands areas, such as the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry of which he was President in 1990/91. He is a life member of Court of Birmingham University, was on Council from 1981-1996, and on the Board of Birmingham Research and Development Ltd., of which he was founder chairman. He also has extensive experience in the role and appointment of Independent Directors.
